The ''Clyde'' was a 490-ton merchant ship built at Greenock, Scotland in 1819. She made three voyages transporting convicts from England and Ireland to Australia.
==Career==
On her first convict voyage, under the command of Daniel Munro and surgeon Morgan Price, she departed Portsmouth on the 30 August 1830, with 216 male convicts. She arrived in Hobart Town on the 18 December 1830. There were no convict deaths en route. The second convict voyage, under the command of Daniel Munro and surgeon George Fairfowl, she departed Portsmouth on 9 May 1832 with 200 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 27 August 1832 and had one convict death en route.

On her third convict voyage, under the command of John Matches and surgeon John Smith, she departed Dublin, Ireland on the 11 May 1838, with 215 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on the 10 September 1838. There were no convict deaths en route. ''Clyde'' departed Port Jackson, bound for Java on 9 October 1838.
